Who IS Anna? 

A musician, a writer, and a girl who loves the stuff dreams are made of.  That's me.  If you love jazz music in the style of the 1920s-1950s and classic books, movies, and radio shows, you've found a goldmine.  You see, I love all those things too, and bemoan the fact that they're not the rage anymore.  As a piano-player and singer, I love performing the standards by great songwriters like Gershwin, Porter, Kern, and so many others.  Their music has inspired my own songwriting, culminating in lots of original songs (with sheet music for several!) and finally a Youtube channel; you'll find tons of videos I've posted over the years as I record my new songs and the golden classics.  And I've been writing stories since I was a little kid.  Classic films and radio have influenced my writing style, helping me chisel my works into terse, entertaining plots.  Since I love history, especially the WWII era, it's thrilling to combine real events and people with drama, romance, mystery, and of course, faith.  Which brings up another thing: this is one of the few places where you'll find 1940s-type books with a Christian overtone.  My greatest aim is to tie the love and grace of God into every story.  I want to intrigue readers, but also invite them to a Savior.  I want to educate, but also encourage.  Thus you can ensure that books by Anna Henderson are clean, God-honoring, and suitable for any age.  And even if a plot is not focused on the Gospel message, the fundamentals of a Christ-like life are always the underlying ingredients.  I'm targeting a specific audience: people who love this lost era and its music, and who also want to read vintage-style books without any immorality or language.  I can just about guarantee that you'll love the gems you dig up around here!
